Early Christmas Treat. / by Dzulkanean Ali

Just me, my cup of Chai, and my thoughts.

Just me, my cup of Chai, and my thoughts.

So I was from a client meeting and was making my way to Starbucks for a quick cup of Chai Tea to unwind and recollect my thoughts from the meeting. That was when I saw this amazingly beautifully designed cup/tumblr and knew immediately I had to cop one. After all, my previous Starbucks tumblr broke into 2 separate parts.

Manage to give the portrait mode a quick play. Second time trying it out, but it just isn't working out for me yet. It feels like an amateur photoshop artist did a quick gausian blur on the background with "0" feather.

Anyway, I guess the main reason why I bought this Gold blasted cup was mainly cause I needed some self motivation to carry on doing what I love to do. To be honest, it's really a constant fight between giving up and holding on & fighting for what you can achieve. And at times, giving up seems like the easiest way out! But that'll be another blog post for itself. I guess it's a healthy thing to do for you to treat yourself? Kinda like a pat on the back for a job well done or you've made it this far.

Very nice, simple & cheap festive packaging.

Regardless, I just think the entire Christmas Festive merch from Starbucks is amazing this year. From the product itself, to the packaging. And it's damn cost effective too. All they had was a printed polybag (the red bag that you see in the picture), a wrapping paper bag for my cup itself, a printed hangtag (made from raw paper), and a foil (to wrap it all up). Overall, I think the entire packaging costs less than 50¢ since it's being mass manufactured. A job well done Starbucks.
