Treated myself to some pan-fried potatoes with cheese this weekend. It turned out to be a pretty simple dish to make. Perfect for the weekend, breakfast, or as a side dish when having steak.
Here’s the recipe that i came up with — potatoes (lots of ‘em), onion and garlic, sausage, pepperoni, salt and pepper to season with, chilli dust (the ones you get when ordering pizza), an egg, and some mozzarella cheese!
The potatoes are going to take a while for them to soften up in the pan, so you’re gonna want to cut your potatoes into medium size cubes. Once that’s done, throw them in the pan (with oil of course)! Slice & dice the onions, crush the garlic and put them in the pan with your potatoes. Sprinkle some salt and pepper for seasoning and don’t forget to throw in the chilli dust! 15 mins later, turn things up with some sliced sausage and pepperoni. If your potatoes aren’t soft by now, fill a cup with a quarter of water and pour it in the pan. Right after that, cover the pan. It works as a catalyst to soften the potatoes. Lastly, put in the eggs and cover the entire pan with cheese!
Leave it to melt for 5/10 mins and you’re done!
