Recruited by Grizzle Grind Crew’s LeNerd to engineer a complete and consistant brand identity — an emblem, logotype, album art and poster. Involvement includes visual documentations, brand consistancy and social media development.
From the initial idea, we came to an agreement to go forward with the concept of a simple, timeless logotype that includes an emblem.
The emblem should emphasize on the letter ‘N’ in LeNerd. Having pitch the idea that every artist got their own DNA— LeNerd happens to be a nerd, thus the name LeNerd. Keeping that, I wanted to hold on to nerd as an identity.
To execute the idea, I had runs on how ‘N’ can be played into an emblem on it’s own.
Further development & exploration lead me towards the direction of the square root sign. During the final stages of development an ambigram was crafted as the emblem.
